Pros. This card is ideal for regular spenders who like to travel. You can earn up to a whopping 3 frequent flyer points for each dollar spent, so if you do most your monthly transactions on your card and pay them off in full on time you’ll quickly accrue points.

You also receive both domestic and international travel insurance which will save you time and money. There’s also insurance to cover you against any travel delays or flight cancellations.

Additionally there’s dedicated customer services, and fraud protection to keep you covered at all times. If you like being looked after this card will suit you down to the ground.

Cons. The annual fee is pretty high at $349 per year.

Pros. This card breaks the mould of frequent flyer credit cards charging no annual fee whatsoever. There is also a fairly low interest rate, and up to 44 days interest free, giving you plenty of time to pay for your purchases without being charged extra.

Cons. This card lacks in some of the bonus features it’s more dynamic cousins offer. With no travel insurance, car rental, or inconvenience insurance included. You also need to spend $2 to earn 1 reward point meaning you need to work harder to amass your points.

Pros. Important travel insurance is back on the menu with this product, as is a nice sign up bonus.

Cons. There aren’t many drawbacks with this card, other than the fact that the annual fee goes up after the first year.
