I would like to apply for a business credit card however, my business has not been running for long, it has started on 8 March. In addition, no funds has been actioned. Am I still able to apply for the card if i don’t have a verification of an tax accountant to state my business is legit?
Hi Wenny. Thanks for your question. Sorry about the delay in getting this response back to you, but for future reference and if anyone else would like to know, if your business is still in its infant stages, you can fill out the application and list your account’s contact details. American Express will liaise with your account to work through the application and assess you eligibility. Even if your business is still in the beginning stages of start up, you may still be eligible to apply for this card. Hope this helps.
Can points earned on this Business Card be re-distributed to other employees?
Can the points be used for personal expenses?
Hi Stuart. Thanks for your question and apologies for the delay in getting back to you. If you would like to reward your employees, you can give them the rewards you’ve redeemed with your points, but you can’t give them the points themselves. Say you wanted to give your employees a free return flight as an end of year bonus, you can use the points that have been credited to the main account and book flights in their name, and then send them the vouchers/tickets. The same with all American Express Membership Rewards. You can’t transfer the points to their account / frequent flyer membership, but you can give them the rewards. Jacob.
Can you tell me what the 8 airline programs I can transfer my rewards over to & is it a 1 for 1 transfer
HI Darren. Thanks for your question.
American Express Rewards frequent travel partners are: Velocity Frequent Flyer (1 Membership Rewards Point for 1 Velocity Point), Air New Zealand (100 Membership Rewards Points for 1 Airpoints dollar), Asia Miles (1 Membership Rewards is equal to 1 Asia Miles), Etihad Airways (1 Membership Reward point is equal to 1 Etihad Guest Miles), Malaysia Airlines (1 Membership Rewards point is equal to 1 Enrich Miles), Singapore Airlines (1 Membership Rewards point is equal to 1 KrisFlyer Mile) & Thai Airways (1 Membership Rewards point is equal to 1 Royal Orchid Plus miles) & Virgin Atlantic (1 Membership Rewards point is equal to 1 Flying Club Mile). Cheers.
