    Hi,
    In regards to the Qantas Club invitations, if I have a supplementary card, does the invitation cover the 2 of us for one entry? And if I were to fly SYD, SIN, LON return I’ll only get entry to the club for e.g Sydney at the start of the trip?

      Hi Daniel. Thanks for your question. These passes are for single entry. If you wanted to bring another person, say an additional cardholder, you would have to use your second pass. According to the terms and conditions, ‘Each invitation is valid for a single visit before the date specified on the pass when flying with Qantas or Jetstar (with a QF or JQ flight number).’ So you would have to use your second pass if you wished to visit the lounge at your destination. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Jacob.

    Hello,
    Do the rewards points on this card transfer 1 to 1 for frequent flyer points and are the points capped?

    Thank you

    • Staff
      Jeremy | February 10, 2012

      Hi Nick,

      Points start at 1.25:1 for every dollar spent on eligible purchases – there are other incentives that can amount to a total 17,500 within the first months of your card. The special 17,500 points promotion is capped at that number; however, once you have reached the promotions limits, points will be accrued at their normal rate of 1.25:1

      Cheers
      Jeremy

    What do you mean by “eligible purchases?” are reward points given for Utility Bills? Phone Bills? direct deposits?

      Jacob | August 1, 2012

      Hi Anne.
      Thanks for your question.
      The following is taken from the American Express Qantas Points Terms and Conditions page:
      ‘No points accrue in respect of:
      (a) charges prepaid prior to the first billing statement for that
      Account following the Enrolment Date;
      (b) Cash advance and other cash services;
      (c) American Express Travellers Cheque and gift cheque purchases;
      (d) charges for dishonoured cheques;
      (e) interest charges;
      (f) annual Card fees;
      (g) late payment charges; and
      (h) all other fees and charges applied to the Card Account.’

      Hope this has helped.
