American Express Rewards Concierge offers certain American Express card members a personal concierge service. You are able to redeem your Membership Rewards points for help from the Rewards Concierge, meaning you can organise those things that you have to do but simply don’t have the time for. This could be such diverse activities as moving furniture or sourcing insurance quotes. When using the American Express Rewards Concierge service, every $100 is worth 13,021 Membership Rewards points.

All you have to do is call the American Express Rewards Concierge and tell them exactly what help you need. They will then search for what you want, provide you with a choice of options, tell you how many points are needed and, if it is all acceptable to you, they will then arrange it on your behalf.

American Express Rewards Concierge is an invitation-only service exclusively for selected American Express cardmembers who are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. You can redeem your points with Rewards Concierge if you’re a selected member of the Membership Rewards Spirit, Ascent or Choices.

Using American Express Rewards Concierge:

If you are selected, you can then redeem your Membership Rewards points by calling 1300 731 794, 8am to 6pm (Sydney time) Monday to Friday. Outside these hours, you can leave your enquiry on the answerphone and a consultant will call you back at the time of your choosing. After that, you should allow 3 to 5 business days for the Rewards Concierge to find the best quote possible. If you decide to go ahead with it, your reward should reach you within 14 business days. You can request that your reward is delivered to your nominated address or you can arrange to pick it up from a suitable location.

If the reward you want is already available through the Membership Rewards program, you can then redeem your points for the reward of your choice by visiting membershiprewards.com.au

Provided the reward is available, you can redeem your points for virtually anything. Cardmembers have already used the American Express Rewards Concierge to redeem for items and services such as a white 1986 Mercedes 230E, home renovations, gift-wrapped presents, settling their tax bills, and securing front-row tickets to the Rugby World Cup.

To redeem points with the American Express Rewards Concierge, you will need your card details ready so your account can be verified. You should also provide clear instructions as to exactly what you want the service to do for you. You can redeem as many points as you like, and if you don’t have sufficient, you can use a combination of points plus a payment on your Amex card.
