ANZ Balance Visa – 0% for 6 months balance transfer offer

Posted January 10th, 2010 and last modified April 11th, 2010

The ANZ Balance Visa card is the only credit card in Australia that offers the customer reward points for every dollar they pay down on their balance. Apply before 27 February 2010, and you will also secure a balance transfer rate of 0% p.a. for 6 months!

With the ANZ Balance Visa points are awarded for your repayments, whatever they cover: repayments on your regular credit card spending, interest charges, fees on your ANZ Balance Visa, and balance transfers from non-ANZ credit cards. You can even earn reward points for paying down debts on cash advances and cash-equivalent transactions such as purchasing foreign currency and travellers cheques. These points can then be exchanged for cashback, shopping vouchers or gift cards.

Cashback rewards are available in $20, $50 and $100 denominations and they can be used to reduce the balance on your ANZ Balance Visa account. This will appear as a credit on your credit card statement and will be deducted from your balance. You can also choose how you redeem your reward points, either via an auto-redemption or a manual option.

You will have peace of mind knowing that ANZ’s ‘Secure Falcon’ will keep your transactions online and offline credit card secure, with 24/7 security monitoring to flag any suspicious card transactions.
