Hi my daughter Emily turns 19 in August 2016 and is wanting to go on an overseas trip. She works part time and earns over $6K and is a full time uni student. We would as her parents be happy to go on the credit card application with her to support her application – she has had no previous loans and therefore has no credit rating. She is now paying her own phone bill from Telstra and has the evidence of regular paying off a bill.
Should she apply online or come into a store?

      Sally | September 10, 2015

      Hi Chloe,

      Thank you for your question.

ANZ First Student credit card cardholders must earn a minimum income of $6,000 p.a. This includes part-time work, youth allowance and Austudy.

      I hope this has helped.

      Thanks,

      Sally
