      Hi,

Thanks for the question, according to the ANZ terms and conditions: “. For additional cardholders an Additional Cardholder Fee of $10 and Rewards Program Services Fee of $55 apply per additional cardholder on the account.”

We are looking at a credit card to help with cash flow in our small business. We don’t have financials for the last two years I am getting them done but it’s taking longer than I thought. We are a small building company and I have 3 contracts signed for this year One more next week and one the week after. with the 3 signed we will have an income of Gross $197K I can show copies of the signed contracts. We have 4 more houses for next year however haven’t got contracts on them at this stage. I would like to transfer all of our business accounts over to the one bank with business cheque accounts, overdraft or business loan and CC. I am hoping that ANZ can help with the contracts

    Hi,

I’m in Australia on a 457 Business Sponsorship Visa. I’ll be in Australia for the next 3-4 years. Can I apply for a card?

    Thank you,

      Hi Pascal

With a 457 Business Sponsorship Visa you are probably best to make your enquiry at an ANZ branch as they’ll have the best advice in helping you get a card.

      Cheers

We are looking for business credit card that has Qantas frequent flyer points attached. As the application for the credit card will be in both owners names, are both applicants able to have access to redeem the points for booking air tickets ?
Or should the account be in their business name?
eg. The business is owned by John Smith & Peter Brown can either partner book airline tickets from the frequent flyer account linked to the credit card?

    • Staff
      Jeremy | March 19, 2012

      Hi Linda,

Thanks for your question. This will depend on the type of card you apply for. Business credit cards usually allow a series of additional card holders that accrue points to the main account when used for business and everyday spending. For a list of cards and their linked rewards programs, please visit our business credit card comparison page here – http://www.creditcardfinder.com.au/business-credit-cards Cheers.

Is there a overseas transaction fee?

    • Staff
      Jacob | August 15, 2012

Hi Harry. Yes, ANZ charge a cross currency conversion fee for international transactions. For a comparison of travel money cards, check our comparison page. The foreign currency conversion fee is a fee charged by your lender when you use your card, which is linked to your Australian bank account with Australia dollars, to make a purchase in a foreign country in a foreign currency. This is a fee of 3% of the total transaction. Hope this helps.

    Hi There
Am I able to get multiple supplementary cards and will those cards link to the one account? If so, will each of the supplementary cards have a unique number that allows me to distinguish them on the statement?

    • Staff
      Marc | April 3, 2013

      Hello Tony,
      thanks for the question!

If you’re asking if you can get multiple cards to give to other cardholders so they can earn points, then yes, this card allows up to 9 additional cardholders, at a fee of $10 each per year, plus a membership fee of $55 a year. Each additional cardholder will have a different number to distinguish them by on the statement each month.

      I hope this helps,
      Marc.

Spend Required for $100 Reward $9,000

Please advise what this refers to? I can’t find the details listed.
    Thanks

    • Staff
      Jacob | July 19, 2012

Hi Sonya. The figure is based on the amount of money you would have to spend on your card to earn $100 in rewards value. This along with the rewards points needed for a SYD-MEL flight is a good indicator for judging the value of a rewards program. Hope this has helped.

Can I obtain this card for a business I am setting up using my current full time income to meet the requirements until such time as the business is profitable? If so will this be on my personal credit record and thus effect my borrowing capacity when I go to buy a house?

    • Staff
      Jacob | November 15, 2012

Hi Clayt. Thanks for your question. The card will be under your name, thus you will be liable for any credit misadventures on that account. If you’ve pay the card on time there will be no negative implications when you go to get a home loan. in important consideration: when you apply for a home loan the lender will look at your total credit limit when assessing your liabilities, not just what you have spent. Cheers.

1.I am confused re reward accumulation. Do I receive reward points when I use my credit card to pay bills?
    2. I have 2 ANZ Frequent Flyer cards, but have not to my knowledge paid any fee. Is the fee for American Express card only charged if I use the card?
    Thank you

    • Staff
      Marc | March 25, 2013

      Hello Dr Bailey,
      thanks for the questions!

You will receive points when using a credit card to pay for bills with the Frequent Flyer Platinum, including for BPAY transactions. This is provided the biller is treating the bill as a purchase and not a cash advance. If this isn’t the case and the bill is classified as a cash advance no points will be earned, so check with the merchant first.

In regards to the second part of your comment, this card should have a total annual fee of $95, which is made up of $40 annual fee and $35 for the rewards program, regardless of if the linked American Express card is used or not. If the card account is older the fees you pay could be different, so it may be helpful to call ANZ directly to discuss the matter.

      I hope this helps,
      Marc.

Hi there, most Amex or all Amex only award .5 points per dollar for payments to the Aust Tax Office. I cannot see where this card follows suite. Would you still get 1.5 points for ATO payments.

    Thanks

    • Staff
      Jacob | April 16, 2013

Hi Preston. Great question. This card is issued by ANZ and is subject to their rewards policy. I’ve sent the information to your email if you would like to have a further look, but point 7 page 13 states, ‘You will not earn Reward Points on interest charges; premiums paid for ANZ Credit Card Insurance; government charges; bank fees; cash advances (as defined in the ANZ Credit Cards Conditions of Use) and card account adjustments resulting from disputed transactions.’ As you said, American Express cards will earn points on government charges and utilities. Compare American Express cards here. Jacob.

I currently hold an ANZ Platinum Card and spend $5,000 – $8,000 per month with it. Many other cards are offering 1 to 1.25 FF points per dollar, have similar benefits and have much lower annual fee. (CB Gold, Citibank Platinum, Bankwest, CUA). Will you match these, or do I change providers?

    • Staff
      Jacob | April 25, 2013

Hi Wayne. Thanks for your question and great to see that you have done your homework. We are not the bank, so we can’t provide you with special offers other than the current offers listed on the site, including the exclusive offers found on the exclusive deals page. Please contact ANZ to see if they can do anything with your request, in my experience people have been unsuccessful asking banks to match another banks credit card offer; however, it can’t hurt to ask. You can have up to nine additional cardholders for an annual fee of $10 each. If you’re looking to transfer a balance at a promotional rate, it has to be from non-ANZ store, credit or charge cards. If you’re looking for more information on balance transfers, please check this video.
