ANZ Rewards Credit Card – Rewards Program Review
Guide to ANZ Rewards Credit Cards Rewards Points
Customers have a choice of two ANZ Rewards cards: ANZ Rewards or ANZ Rewards Gold.
Customers are encouraged to use their credit cards the way they normally would, to pay for purchases and buy the things they need. The difference with these cards is that you can earn 1 point for every $1 you spend using your card.
Is an ANZ Rewards Credit Card Right For You?
If you’re the type of customer who has a credit card maxed out at the credit limit, then you obviously can’t use your credit card to pay for more items until you reduce the balance. These types of customers may not get the full benefits of a rewards card.
However, if you regularly repay your balance so that you always have available credit, you’re more likely to use your card from day to day to pay for the things you need. These types of customers are likely to accumulate rewards points very quickly.
Earning Bonus Points
ANZ has teamed up with Bonus Partners, who will allow you to earn bonus rewards points if you purchase through them. Some of ANZ’s bonus partners include Dreamworld, Hoyts, Novotel and Thrifty car rental.
Redeeming Your Rewards Points
Your ANZ Rewards points can be redeemed for a range of great items, so you’re always given plenty of choice to select the items that suit you best. However, ANZ have gone a step further and allowed you to decide whether you want to redeem your points for frequent flyer miles, if you wish.
This means you can redeem your ANZ Rewards points for Virgin Australia Velocity Rewards Points, Air New Zealand Airpoints, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles or Cathay Pacific Asia Miles.
For those who don’t wish to redeem points for travel, you’re able to choose from a wide range of merchandise, including kitchen goods and electrical items, or gift cards and vouchers for a range of great stores. You might even decide to choose an Optus pre-paid recharge card for your mobile.
ANZ Rewards points can also be redeemed for Cash Back, which comes in the form of a credit paid directly into your ANZ credit card balance.
