Review of the ANZ Rewards Gold

The ANZ Rewards Gold credit card is for those consumers who want a little bit more from their credit card but also want to save a little bit of cash. The prospect of carrying a Gold level credit card in your wallet brings you prestige, but it also brings you valuable perks that are not available to the average credit card owner.

The benefit with this card comes from the fact that the ANZ Rewards Gold actually comes with two credit cards under the one account. The ANZ Rewards Gold card offer comes with an American Express card that earns a whopping 3 points for every dollar that you spend on purchases. That is an incredible rate that you will want to take advantage of at every chance. But, as most American Express users know there will be certain times when you will not be able to use your American Express card, for those times you can use your ANZ Rewards Gold Visa card. The Visa card also earns rewards at a pretty stellar rate of 1.5 points for every dollar spent on purchase. No matter where you go, chances are that one of your rewards earning cards will be accepted. All of those points wind up in the same account so that you can earn more toward a wide array of options like travel, shopping, and more.

Of course, earning points is not the only reward that you get from the ANZ Rewards Gold credit card. As a Gold level cardholder you will also get complimentary extended warranty coverage on purchases made with your card. You will also have purchase security insurance for 90 days that covers items in the event of loss, theft, or damage. As you would expect, ANZ knows that Gold level clients love to travel so they also include the option to purchase commission free travellers cheques at ANZ branches anywhere in Australia.
