This is a great encouragement to make your repayments on time, and as quickly as possible. For every dollar you repay, you earn one reward point. These points can then be exchanged for cashback, shopping vouchers or gift cards. There is currently a 0% p.a. for 6 months on balance transfers, which is the usual period for 0% at the moment. The interest rate for purchases is 14.24%.

ANZ Gold card – This ANZ Visa credit card has a credit limit up to $25 000. It includes ninety days cover on any purchases, ensuring peace of mind if your goods are stolen, lost or damaged within the first three months. This card offers up to nine additional cardholders free of charge.

ANZ Visa Reward – This card offers a choice of 500 different rewards, including cashback, shopping vouchers or gift cards. You are also entitled to discounts on numerous entertainment centres across Australia.

ANZ Visa Reward Gold – Similar to the above credit card, but for those with higher earnings. A credit limit up to $50,000 and no cap on your rewards points so you can gain maximum advantage from your spending.

There are also three versions of the ANZ Visa Frequent Flyer card – Classic, Gold and Platinum – with fees of $95, $195 and $295.00 respectively.

Whichever ANZ Visa credit card you choose, you need to make sure you have matched your own requirements and financial situation very carefully to it, so that the card can work with you and your spending habits.
