Where Can I use An Aussie MasterCard?
Find out more about the Aussie MasterCard and its associated costs. Not every credit card offers consumers the same deals and the more familiar you become with your card the more use you can make of it.
An Aussie MasterCard can be used in Australia, or at any other overseas location in the world that accepts MasterCard. It is the card of choice for both frequent travellers and home bound Aussies alike.
An Aussie MasterCard allows you to shop worldwide 24 hours a day. No matter where you are located, you can use the convenience of the Aussie credit card to shop online, in person or over the phone. There are over 28 million places you can use this card to shop both around the world and in Australia. It can be used in any country or location that accepts MasterCard (c).
Aussie MasterCard charges for cash advances:
You can make a cash advance from your Aussie credit card from any of these worldwide locations. You will be charged certain fees for these advances, depending on the individual fees the ATM operator is charging and any additional surcharges. Here are the basic charges you can expect to pay when making a cash advance withdrawal.
A basic fee of 2% will be charged when you get a cash advance using your Aussie MasterCard. If your account has a credit balance when the cash advance is processed, then the amount of credit will help to offset the cash advance amount for the 2% fee calculation. There is a minimum fee also for any cash advances done at a branch, and for using an ATM overseas. The account balance at the time of the cash advance will be based on any transactions that have been processed by Aussie MasterCard.
There is a minimum set fee of $4 for any cash advance made at any financial institution or bank in Australia. Cash advances that are made at a financial institution, bank or ATM overseas will be charged a fee of 2% based on the amount of the advance, any Overseas Transaction Fee and any operator fee for an ATM, for that transaction. Some EFTPOS locations overseas and some ATMs may also have an additional surcharge imposed.
The cash advance fee will be applied to the overseas transaction fee and the cash advance when a cash advance is processed using a foreign currency. Interest may also be charged based on the withdrawal date.
The Aussie MasterCard can be used for cash advances when an emergency occurs, or as a convenient way to get some money when you really need it. It can be used globally or locally, and offers affordable low rates and special features that sets them apart from other cards.
