How can it claim to be up to 55 days interest free but in the Fees & Repayments section state that interest is charged from purchase date.

I’ve noticed this on other cards as well.

The current balance transfer rate lasts for 12 months with the Bankwest Lite MasterCard. At the end of the balance transfer period, it reverts to the purchase rate.

This is something that you could try negotiate directly with Bankwest. There is however a no annual fee credit card from Bankwest: Bankwest Zero MasterCard

Im a new customer to Bankwest would you guys waive the annual fee for the first year?

With the BankWest Lite Mastercard. With the bank transfer at 5.99%, if I transfer $10000, and if within the 12 months we only pay $8000, does the 10.75% go on the original $10000 or the remainder $2000? Thank you.
