British Airways- One of the jewels in the crown of the United Kingdom. Not only is the British flag carrier the second largest airline in the UK, but its partnership with Spanish airline Iberia makes it the second largest air carrier in the whole of Europe.

With so many worldwide routes operating from the airline’s two London hubs, Heathrow and Gatwick, British Airways has become the chosen method of transport for regular travellers in and around England’s capital city.

Anyone that finds themselves flying from Heathrow or Gatwick more than a couple of times a year should take a look at the British Airways Executive Club Frequent Flyer Program. That way  they can start reaping the rewards from their regular trips.

What is the British Airways Executive Club?

The Executive club is an air miles reward program that offers members points each time they travel with the airline and any of its partners.

Members will be offered an array of special offers from British Airways themselves, along with some tasty treats from partner restaurants, and some of the leading package holiday companies.

Members will also receive regular offers in the form of cheap air travel, free hotel room upgrades, two for one offers at some of London’s top attractions, and exclusive low prices on some amazing package holidays around Europe.

On top of all this, those with a premium membership will also gain access to the luxury British Airways airport lounges, making that business trip that little bit more peaceful and relaxing.

Is It Easy To Earn Points?

In fact it really couldn’t be any easier to earn points with the British Airways Executive Club. Members earn points by spending money on flights with the airline and it’s affiliated partner airlines. Those who travel regularly will be able to rack up an impressive number of points like this over the course of the year.

Even those that fly only a few times a year can earn points. There are a number of retail companies involved with the scheme, and members shopping with them will earn points in exactly the same way as those booking air travel.

Ebay, Tesco, Apple, Travelex, and HMV are just some of British Airways retail partners and the list is continuing to grow.

New members are able to choose from 3 different levels of membership, each with it’s own range of benefits. The Blue tier is the program’s most basic of memberships, yet still entitles members to earn air miles, get priority booking, seating and meal preferences, and the chance to pay for extra air miles.

The next level of membership is the Silver tier and members are offered all the benefits the Blue members receive, plus extra baggage allowance, priority check-in, priority boarding, lounge access, and the chance to earn 25% more air miles.

Gold members are in the top tier of the program and receive all of the above benefits, as well as

50% extra air miles, first class check in service, lounge access, a special silver partners card, a gold upgrade for you and a partner, and even a Concorde room card!

The Gold membership will cost more than the standard Blue membership, but with all these additional features and benefits the extra expense is made very worthwhile. The British Airways Executive Club Frequent Flyer Rewards Program certainly flies the flag for Great Britain!
