The Marco Polo Club has a joining fee of US$100. When you sign up for the Marco Polo Club, you'll automatically be enrolled in Asia Miles too.
How you can earn Asia Miles program points

Frequently asked questions
Do Asia Miles program points expire?
Since 1 January 2020, your Asia Miles won't expire so long as you continue to record activity within any 18-month period. Points earned before this date still function under the old expiry policies (see Asia Miles tips for staying active and how points on the old scheme expire).
Do Asia Miles program offer family points pooling?
No, Asia Miles doesn't offer family points pooling. If you want this option, you might want to check out a frequent flyer program such as Velocity frequent flyer.
How can I claim missing Asia Miles program points?
You'll always need to remember to quote your member number when earning miles. Cathay Pacific will only accept requests for missing points if your number was properly quoted.
Yes, since Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon lounges are available to First and Business Class passengers, selected members of The Marco Polo Club and oneworld partner programme members.
I have been travelling frequently with my wife to the U.S. and Europe and also far east. How do I register for the ‘frequent flyer’ status?
Will I be able to add the trips made earlier from 2006 on wards?
If you’re after of signing up with Marco Polo Club, kindly visit their page for your online application and to know more on their tier and memebership benefits. You may learn more on claiming missing points by logging in on your Cathay Pacific account then click on “Manage Your club points and/or Asia Miles” and then “Claim Missing club points and/or Asia Miles” to complete a Missing Mileage Request Form online. It would then let you know if you may claim points for flights you had earlier that 2006.
I have a Quantas, Etihad, Air Berlin, Miles & More membership and would like to transfer all miles to Marco Polo.
Is this possible and how can this be done?
Thx
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to transfer your points from one frequent flyer program to another because different programs have different terms and conditions surrounding how you earn points and what they can be spent on.
I am flying Cathay Pacific Sydney to Hong Kong to London, Premium economy and have Qantas gold membership
Will I be able to enter a club at Sydney and Hong Kong and if so which clubs
or do I have to join Marco Polo
Thx
Although Qantas and Cathay Pacific are partnered airlines, unfortunately, you won’t be able to access the Marco Polo lounge unless you’re a member. Also, as you can’t enter the lounges for a fee, you need to be a member to enter.
Unfortunately, as Qantas and Cathay Pacific both belong to the oneworld Alliance and Singapore Airlines belongs to the Star Alliance, you can’t transfer KrisFlyer Miles between these airlines.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your question.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to transfer your points from one frequent flyer program to another because different programs have different terms and conditions surrounding how you earn points and what they can be spent on.
However, it is possible to redeem your frequent flyer points for flights and rewards with another partner airline. You may check our guide to learn more about how to redeem and earn frequent flyer points with other airlines.
