Hi,
What does “Guaranteed expiry for a minimum of 6 months” mean?
I thought gift cards normally last for 12 months
Thanks
Hi Anthony. Thanks for your question. Gift cards are valid for a period of 12 months after the card is purchased. Jacob.
Hi,
I have 68,000 reward points, what can I get for that?
Hi Roz
Nice work – congrats! :)
It really does depend on what you were to redeem the points for. Here is 1 example where you redeem the points for gift cards:
68,000 Points =
3 Myer $100 Gift Cards @ a rate of 17,200 rewards points per $100 gift card
plus 1 Myer $50 Gift Card @ a rate of 8,900 rewards points per $50 gift card
Total Cost in Points: 60,500
Remaining Points: 7,500
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Jeremy
I have been sent the new rewards card but have not activated it yet because I do not know if it replaces my platinum visa card that I already have?
Hi Susanne. In the time it’s take to write back, I hope you’ve activated the card; however, unless the card was specifically sent out as an upgrade or replacement for your old credit card, it will not replace the new one you have. Sorry about the delay. Jacob.
Where can I find information listing what can be redeemed with points?
Hi Glen,
You can redeem your Citibank rewards points for many items in the Citibank Rewards program. To give you an idea, a 2GB iPod Shuffle will cost 10,200 points while a $50 gift card will set you back 8,900 points. Please check the Citibank Rewards Program website for further information on the gifts available to you – http://www.citibank.com.au/AUGCB/ICARD/condyn/getEntry.do?file=ripper_content/travel_catalogue&layout=success – Thanks for your question.
Cheers,
Jeremy
Hi,
I am interested to apply for this card but would like to know if the points can be used towards any airlines. I can see that you can transfer to specific frequent flyer programs, but is there a search engine to search for flights from any airline?
Thanks
Veronica
Hi Veronica. The Citibank Rewards website may have this functionality; however, we have a good page which deals with this question. Thanks for your question and sorry about the delay. Jacob.
What is the transfer rate for Velocity points please?
Hi Caz. 1.5 Citi Rewards points = 1 Velocity Point. For more information on point transfer rates please check our Velocity Points page. Thanks for your question.
