FlyBuys points are available for shopping at any Coles group store, but when you pay for your purchases using a Coles MasterCard, you can earn almost double the regular amount of points.

However, by linking your FlyBuys card to your Coles MasterCard, you can Earn 2.00 FlyBuys point per $1 spent at participating Coles group stores.

Linking Your Coles MasterCard to FlyBuys
If you already have a regular FlyBuys card, you’re able to link your account to your Coles MasterCard easily. Each time you pay for a purchase using your Coles MasterCard, your FlyBuys points are automatically added to your regular points balance.
In most cases, you’ll be able to link your cards together at the time you submit your application. However, if you don’t supply your FlyBuys account number at this time, you’re able to still link them together online at a later point. You will need to do this before you can benefit from the extra points bonus.
This means you can benefit from the great discounts and incentives offered by your Coles MasterCard at the same time as building your amount of FlyBuys points to spend on other items.
More Than One
If you know someone with a FlyBuys card that never uses their points, you are able to allocate that person as being a subsidiary card holder to your own account. This means every time they spend money at a Coles group store, they’ll accrue more points onto your account. This could help to increase the points you have to redeem for other great items that could save you plenty of money.
When you add the extra bonus FlyBuys points you’ll collect when you pay for your own purchases using your Coles MasterCard, this will add up to plenty of bonuses that can make your MasterCard really pay for itself over time.

Do I receive free travel insurance
with my platinum coles source master
card?
Hello Lorraine,
thanks for the question!
This card doesn’t come with free travel insurance, although it does come with complimentary merchandise protection insurance, which protects eligible items bought using the card for 90 days against theft, damage or loss. It also comes with an around the clock global concierge service.
I hope this helps,
Marc.
Can I use Coles Mastercard as a normal mastercard overseas. If so what are the conversion rates and fees connected with using it out of Australia?
Hi Ros. Thanks for your question. Please check the Coles MasterCard Review and Application Page for a list of fees and charges that are associated with this card – you can find this information in the table at the bottom of the card’s review. Jacob.
Good Morning,
I was just wondering if I am able to be accepted for a Coles Credit Card if I have a default on my phone bill? I am scared to apply as I know this can affect my credit rating. My phone is almost paid off.
Any advice would be wonderful thanks in advance!
Hi Nicole. Great question. If your worried about your credit file, please have a look at your credit file - this will let you see exactly what the lender can see when you apply for credit. If you have had a credit misadventure in the past, it’s advised that you speak to a lender in person. Generally credit card applications that happen face to face are a little more flexible than the online counterpart. Jacob.
hi just wondering i have been in australia for nearly a year can i apply for a coles credit card.
Hi Hendry. Thanks for your question. It depends on how long you plan to stay for and why you’re here. Some non-permanent residents who have a 457 Visa can apply for some cards. This card is available to temporary residents, conditions will apply though. Jacob.
