      Hi Edward,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

Unfortunately, this exclusive offer for Coles No Annual Fee MasterCard will end on 31 July 2016, so I’m afraid that this offer will no longer be available one month from now.

      Thanks,

    Hi,

My wife wants to apply for this Card. She earns more than $25K which is required for this Card and she’s an Australian Citizen. However, her work is temporary and casual in nature and hence she cannot provide regular pay slips as an income proof.
Would she be eligible for the card in that case?
Also, is it possible that I provide some personal guarantee based on my personal income (which is adequate again), for my wife in lieu of my wife providing any income proof?

      May | July 21, 2016

      Hi Kumar,

Thanks for your inquiry. Just to confirm that you’ve come through to finder.com.au we are an Australian financial comparison website and general information service, not actually Coles.

One of the requirements for this Coles No Annual Fee MasterCard Exclusive Offer is that you’ll need to provide details of your income and employment. So if your wife will be applying, she has to supply those documents mentioned along with other requirements outlined above.

If you want to discuss her chances of approval, you’d be best to contact Coles directly.

      Cheers,
      May

I’ve never had a credit card before, is this one good to start with?

      Anndy | July 20, 2016

      Hi James,

      That’s a good question.

We can’t tell for sure if this card is good for you or not as a first-time cardholder. The best option for a credit card depends entirely on your financial situation, spending habits and personal preferences.

We have a guide for first-time credit card holder that may help you find a suitable card.

      Cheers,

How long does it take to get the Flybuys points once you have been accepted and made a payment?

    • Staff
      May | July 15, 2016

      Hi Matt,

      Thanks for your question.

Just to confirm that finder.com.au is a comparison website and general information service and we are not representing flybuys.

Once you have used your flybuys card or quoted your flybuys number for a transaction at a participating merchant/company (“Participant”), your points will be credited to your account after flybuys have been notified by that “Participant” that you or your additional members have earned points on a qualifying transaction.

For any delay or failure of a “Participant” to notify flybuys of the details of such transactions, you should contact the “Participant” if you dispute the points awarded for a qualifying transaction.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      May

      Hi Margaret,

      Thanks for your question.

When applying for the Coles No Annual Fee MasterCard, Coles require you to provide at least two phone numbers – one can be your mobile number and/or work/home number and the number of the person you nominate your “alternative contact.”

want to open credit card with no annual fee and close my existing card. I have direct debits coming out of the existing card. can they be transferred across to your card if I join the coles mastercard, and is it possible to be contacted as I would like verbal clarification?

    • Staff
      May | July 8, 2016

      Hi Carmen,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

Just to confirm that you’ve come through to finder.com.au we are an Australian financial comparison website and general information service and we do not represent Coles.

Once you conduct a balance transfer to a new card, the direct debits you have on your existing card (where the balance from) will not be transferred. So if you’re going to apply and get approved for the Coles No Annual Fee MasterCard, your direct debits will not be transferred over to this card. You will have to contact and advise your merchant/biller if you want to cancel or change a credit card for your direct debit arrangements.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,

How do I go about paying my credit card off with cash? Where do I pay?

    • Staff
      May | July 1, 2016

      Hi Jacqui,

      Thanks for your question.

You can make a cash payment over the counter at Kmart and Target stores. Simply bring your Coles MasterCard along with your payment to the register.

Another option is to pay your account at any Australia Post Office and take your statement with you. A payment handling fee of $2.00 applies to each transaction.

If you want to know what other methods to pay for your Coles Mastercard, please refer to the page I sent to your email.

      Cheers,

My husband and I, we both want to apply for Coles Mastercard, do we have to submit 2 applications?

We already have flybuys, so how is this Mastercard link to our flybuys card?

    • Staff
      May | June 6, 2016

      Hi Le,

      Thanks for your question.

The Latitude Financial Services offers the Coles No Annual Fee MasterCard and they recommend that the person applying for this product is the main income earner in the household, so it’s you (or your husband) can be the primary cardholder and then later on, just him as an additional cardholder (or he adds you to be the additional cardholder). If you wish to link your flybuys membership / account to this Coles MasterCard, you’ll need to call flybuys on the number I’ve forwarded to your email.

I hope this answers your question.

      Cheers,

I currently have a Credit Card with the Commonwealth Bank. I pay NO ANNUAL FEE. I have a limit of $4,000, and pay approximately, 13.47% interest on it. I also am currently overdrawn by approximately $605.00. I pay a $10.00 overdrawn fee. What I wanted to know, is do you have a low-interest credit card that can give me, NO ANNUAL FEE, A LOWER INTEREST RATE THAN WHAT I’M CURRENTLY PAYING, GIVE ME TIME TO PAY IT OFF SLOWLY, AS I AM ON A DISABILITY SUPPORT PENSION, AND GET PAID FORTNIGHTLY? I AM LOOKING TO CHANGE, AS I FEEL THAT I AM BEING RIPPED OFF BY THEM. I WOULD BE VERY INTERESTED TO SEE WHAT YOU CAN OFFER ME. I ALSO WANT TO SAY THAT I WAS AN EMPLOYEE FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 YEARS. DO YOU HAVE A CREDIT CARD THAT DOES NOT CHARGE ME MORE THAN $10.00 WHEN I AM OVERDRAWN, NO ANNUAL FEE, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY GIVE ME PLENTY OF TIME TO PAY IT OFF SLOWLY, BECAUSE I AM ON THE DISABILITY PENSION? I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KEEP MY LIMIT OF $4,000 AS IN THE PAST AND CURRENTLY, I HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR SURGERIES, THEN WAIT TO BE REIMBURSED FROM MY COMPANY. If someone could please send me an email with answers to my questions, it would be much appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    Kind regards,
    Rosetta

      Hi Rosetta,

      Thanks for your comment.

Since you are already receiving pension payments, you can refer to this page to find which banks or card issuers who would accept your application. You may click on the name of the bank so you can view the cards they offer.

Moreover, if you want to find out which cards have low or no annual fees and low-interest rates, you can view them here. Some of these cards offer 0% interest on balance transfer for a promo period.

As for the credit limit, that will be determined by the card issuer depending on their assessment of your financial situation. Please also note that the total balance you can transfer to a new credit card should not exceed the credit limit you’ll be approved for.

Please make sure to read the eligibility criteria and requirements or call the card company to discuss your options and chances of approval before you apply.

      I hope this is helpful.

      Cheers,
      May
