The Coles Source credit card is a great card for those who like to shop. The application process us simple, yet there are many questions that you need to understand. Below is a guide of the some of the Frequently asked questions about the Coles Source credit card application.
How do I apply and what are the basic requirements that I must meet?
To be eligible to apply for the credit card you need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident aged 18 years or over.
However you do not need to have a FlyBuys card to apply. If you are a FlyBuys member though, make sure you link your cards to get even more rewards.
What questions are included in the application form and is it safe to apply online?
You will be asked the nature of your employment and your income in your Coles Source credit card application. You will also be asked to provide identification details such as a drivers licence. If you are renting, you will also have to give details about your landlord.
You will also have to select a password which is a unique code. Your password must be kept private and should not be shared with anyone. You will need the password to activate the card once it arrives and when you contact customer support by phone.
When will my card arrive and when can I start using it?
The card will arrive between five to ten days after you submit your application. Sometimes application may be referred which can cause a delay in the arrival of the card. However you will be contacted within three days if you are referred. Once the card has arrived you will have to activate it, without doing this you will not be able to use it.
Sometimes you may be sent a gold Coles Group Source MasterCard even though you apply for a standard credit card. This process is automatic and is because you meet the eligibility for the Gold credit card. The Gold card has no extra charges attached to it and provides benefits such as Merchandise Protection Insurance and MasterCard Assist.

The Coles Source Credit Card doesn’t provide a 5% discount at BP Petrol Stations.
