Community First Credit Union Credit Cards

People Helping People
As you can hazard a guess, Community First Credit Union is about helping each other, powered by a live community spirit. Because the company is grounded in a communal spirit it is not required to pay out shares or dividends to investors, nor is it in need to make large profits.
Therefore members can enjoy competitive prices throughout their service and product range.
What Community First Credit Union Can Offer You
Consumers in need of financial services can access a good selection of products through the Community First group:
You can choose from:
- Financial planning services
- Home loans
- Personal loans
- Low rate Visa debit and credit cards
- Insurance
Many of the above have enjoyed great ratings by prestige industry greats such as Money magazine, Your Mortgage Magazine and others in the past years.
Joint Venture with the McGrath Foundation
Founded in 2002 by Jane McGrath, the Foundation is built upon Jane’s personal fight with breast cancer. When she was diagnosed with the debilitating disease for the second time in 2003 Jane realised how important it is to have access to breast care nurses for sufferers.
The Foundation has two major objectives:
- To raise funds for hospital placements of breast care nurses
- To educate Australian women about the dangers of breast cancer
To celebrate the existence of the McGrath Foundation, Community First Credit Union has launched the McGrath Foundation Pink Visa card to help make people aware of the cause, and to give back to the community with the help of great features, benefits and savings for the card holder.

what a great credit card idea please send me more info on this regards sue pollock
Hi Sue. I’ve sent some information to your email. Jacob.
I have an impecable credit history but despite this I have been declined a credit card with Coles Mastercard and AmericanExpress/Qantas No Fee credit card. My only summation is that I am in receipt of the aged pension and although none will admit this is the reason for rejection I can only surmise that (a) I will not be generating sufficient sales for these credit agencies to make any money from me and (b) My Pension Income is way below their expectations.
Would appreciate your observations and comments after hearing all about C>F> with Alan Jones this week.
Kind Regards Karen B.. ps there are lots of Karen B’s……
HI Karen. I had to remove your last name from this post for privacy reasons. Please refer to this article. I wrote it after Bankwest rejected my credit card application and didn’t really offer a reason why. I can only speculate as to why you’ve been declined. Hopefully this article can offer some insights for you. P.S what did Alan Jones say? I must have missed talk back radio that day. Jacob.
