Money Crashers is a finance website designed to help you get financially fit. In order to celebrate the new year, Money Crashers have rounded up dozens of sponsors to help fund all the groovy prizes up for grabs for their holding their Money Crashers 2010 New Year Giveaway Bash!


If you have a blog or a website you can increase your chances of winning one of 100! prizes by blogging about it. This contest is the perfect start to the year, especially since many of the prizes are cash based.


Who can’t do with some extra cash after some heavy retail therapy over Christmas anyway? Take a look at the cool prizes offered for this give away contest:

To be eligible to win one of the above prizes you have to follow the contest rules and collect points. There are several actions you can do to rack up your points score and the more points you collect, the higher is your chance of winning one of the top prizes.


Here is how you get points.


First you must sign up over at the Money Crashers website (scroll down that page until you see the web from).

Then collect entries with the following values by doing the various actions.

* Sign up for the contest mailing list – form above (required) – 1 entry
* Subscribe to the Money Crashers RSS feed via email – form above – 15 entries
* Comment on any Money Crashers blog posts – 2 entries for every comment (note: only useful comments that add to the conversation will be counted – 5 comments per day limit)
* Write a blog post about the Money Crashers 2010 New Year Giveaway – 30 entries
* Follow @MoneyCrashers on Twitter – 12 entries
