Dodge annual fees
Obvious isn’t it? You don’t really have to pay an annual fee on your card. Is there another credit card that offers a similar, or lower, interest rate without annual fees?
Annual fees are mostly charged on credit cards with rewards programs. You’ll have to consider whether or not you spend enough on the card to make the most of the rewards program.

I pay annual fees, and it really annoys me. I don’t see any benefit of it.

Neither do I. What are they used for?

There is no need for annual fees. The UK banks do not charge them & as well you can use any bank’s ATM without extra charges.
