What is Woolworths Everyday Rewards?

To put it simply, Woolworths Everyday Rewards is a customer loyalty program that rewards spending in Woolworths Group Stores in the form of fuel vouchers, in-store discounts and Qantas Frequent Flyer points. This rewards program can be used alongside the Woolworths Qantas Frequent Flyer Credit Card or the Woolworths Money Everyday Credit Card. You can get a Woolworths Everyday Rewards card from participating Woolworths or Safeway Supermarkets, BIG W stores or BWS stores.

How do the Everyday Rewards, Money Everyday & Qantas Credit Cards work?

The Everyday Rewards Card rewards Woolworths Group shoppers with Frequent Flyer points, fuel vouchers and in-store offers when they spend and scan their card.

The Woolworths Money Everyday MasterCard works like a normal credit card and is accepted everywhere MasterCard is accepted. It rewards cardholders with discounts on Woolworths products.

The Woolworths Qantas Credit Card rewards spending with Qantas Frequent Flyer Points.

Both these cards can be linked to a separate card, the Woolworths Everyday Rewards Card. This is not a credit card. This is the card for the Woolworths Everyday Rewards customer loyalty scheme. When you spend at Woolworths Group stores, you can be rewarded with bonus Frequent Flyer or Everyday Rewards Points. Pay for your purchases, like grocery shopping, on your Woolworths Money Everyday or Qantas Credit Card, and then swipe your Money Everyday Rewards Card. For every dollar you spend over $30, you’ll get one bonus Frequent Flyer or Everyday Rewards point.

You will need to register in-store or online to become a member of Everyday Rewards.

Benefits of the Woolworths Everyday Rewards card

  • Earn fuel e-vouchers

When you spend over $30 in a single transaction at participating Woolworths or Safeway Supermarkets and Liquor stores, or BIG W stores, simply present your Woolworths Everyday Rewards card and a fuel e-voucher will be loaded onto your card. This is far easier than having to deal with paper fuel dockets and allows you to save time at the pump. By presenting your Woolworths Everyday Rewards card when you pay for your fuel, any fuel discounts will automatically be applied to the cost of your fuel, and deducted from your card. You will also be able to log in to your account online and keep up to date about any offers on fuel savings.

You can even link other registered card holders to your account so that all fuel saving offers earned on the linked cards go into one account that can be accessed by all the cardholders linked to that account.

  • Earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points

If you are a Qantas Frequent Flyer member you can link your Woolworths Everyday Rewards card to your Frequent Flyer membership and earn one point per dollar over $30 spent in one transaction at Woolworths/Safeway Supermarkets and BWS stores, and BIG W stores. You can also earn 1 point per dollar over $50 spent in one transaction at Dick Smith and Tandy stores. You are then able to redeem your points for flights on Qantas, Jetstar, or 23 airline partners, and also on over 1,000 items in the online Qantas Frequent Flyer store, including Woolworths Gift Cards.

If you are not a Qantas Frequent Flyer, but you would like to join to take advantage of this link, the Woolworths Everyday Rewards card allows you to become a Qantas Frequent Flyer at no charge, by waiving the usual $89.50 joining fee.

  • Other Benefits of the Woolworths Everyday Rewards card

Every so often, Woolworths Everyday Rewards cardholders will receive emails from Woolworths informing them of various exclusive offers and discounts.

How do I register my account online?

If you want to manage your account over the internet and keep track of your points balance, you’ll need to register your account for online use, which is a simple process and goes hand in hand with the online registration for Everyday Rewards.

During the application, you’ll be asked to enter a username (your email address) and a password – you will use these details to log in to your account after you’ve completed the application. Once you selected your login details, you can manage your account online at any time. The application took about 10 minutes (5 minutes on a good day though).

Once you sign up for the Everyday Rewards Card, you’ll be able to use it right away. They’ll provide you with a temporary card which you can print and use right away. It should take about five working days before your actual card arrives in the mail.

How do I check my rewards balance?

Once the application is complete and you’ve logged into your account, you can check the balance of your fuel vouchers, keep track of previous vouchers and view a summary of your Qantas Frequent Flyer points balance.

My account page for everyday rewards

To check your balance, click on the drop down menu with the title ‘My Everyday Rewards’. This will provide you with options to check your rewards.

How do I redeem my reward points?

To redeem your reward points for Woolworths Everyday Rewards, you’ll need to use the following steps:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Click on ‘my account’ > my account login and login with your details
  3. After you’ve logged in the page should display your name on the top right hand corner
  4. Choose ‘redemption settings’ or ‘rewards’ to select what rewards you’d like to redeem for
  5. Redeem your reward!

How do I link my card to my Frequent Flyer membership?

In the Woolworths Everyday Rewards online application, you’re given three options when it comes time to link your Frequent Flyer membership to your Everyday Rewards account.

  • Link Everyday Rewards to your existing Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership
  • Link Everyday Rewards to a new Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership
  • Turn your points into gift cards automatically and forego earning Qantas Frequent Flyer Points.

As you can see you have the option of linking your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership either when you first sign up for Money Everyday or after you’ve applied. You can link your account to your Frequent Flyer membership through your Everyday Rewards online account.

Generally you have to pay a fee to join the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program – currently $89.50 – however, Woolworths may waive this fee as part of a special offer.

I’ve lost my card, how do I get a replacement?

If you’ve lost your card and you want a replacement sent to you, it’s very easy to order a new Money Everyday Card or key tag.

replacing your everyday rewards card

In the menu that says My Everyday Rewards drop-down menu, select the option that says ‘replace card’. This will take you to a page where you can order a new card and key tag, or a replacement key tag only.

I’m from Tasmania – why can’t I earn rewards?

Sadly, if you’re from Tasmania, you’re not eligible to enroll in Woolworths Everyday Rewards. But that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on the opportunity to have your spending rewarded. There is an alternate loyalty program operating for Tasmanians, The Frequent Shopper Club. Apparently, this is a hangover loyalty program from the old chain of Supermarkets Woolworths used to operate in Tasmania. The supermarkets were rebranded from Purity to Woolworths; however, the loyalty program remains.

When you get 750 frequent flyer points when you spend $160 or more, can your purchase of a phone recharge be included in this transaction?

    • Staff
      Jonathan | September 30, 2015

Hi Jane, thanks for your inquiry!

Generally phone recharges are considered as bills/ cash advance transactions. To be entirely sure the terms and conditions for your telecommunications company will specify the type of the transaction a recharge constitutes.

      Jonathan | September 16, 2015

Hi Sorne, thanks for your inquiry!

Everyday Rewards cards are eligible for points earnings. Qantas Rewards points can be automatically deducted for Woolworths WISH eGift cards every 3 months. Auto Rewards Gift Cards are available in $5, $10, $15 and $20 denominations. Auto Rewards will be delivered as Digital Gift Cards (Woolworths WISH eGift Card) to your Email Address.

At this point of time additional cards for a Woolworths account are not advertised on the website. It would be best to contact Woolworths directly to clarify the eligibility of your additional card for points earnings. I have sent their contact details to your email address.

      Thank you for your question.

Just to confirm, you have come through to finder.com.au, not Woolworths. As such, I’m not 100% sure of the promotion you’re referring to.

However, the terms and conditions of the promotion should be available on the receipt you have received. If you’re still unsure, you could either speak with a Woolworths representative via their customer service centre or in-store.

      I hope this has helped.

You can link other registered Everyday Rewards members to one account via your online account.

You will need to login using your username, email or membership number and password.

      I hope this has helped.
