If you shop at Woolworths and like to be rewarded, chances are you may have had a question or two about the Everyday Rewards Program. Table of contents

What is Woolworths Everyday Rewards?

To put it simply, Woolworths Everyday Rewards is a customer loyalty program that rewards spending in Woolworths Group Stores in the form of fuel vouchers, in-store discounts and Qantas Frequent Flyer points. This rewards program can be used alongside the Woolworths Qantas Frequent Flyer Credit Card or the Woolworths Everyday Money Credit Card.

How do the Everyday Rewards, Everyday Money & Qantas Credit Cards work?

The Everyday Rewards Card rewards Woolworths Group shoppers with Frequent Flyer points, fuel vouchers and in-store offers when they spend and scan their card.

The Woolworths Everyday Money MasterCard works like a normal credit card and is accepted everywhere MasterCard is accepted. It rewards cardholders with discounts on Woolworths products.

The Woolworths Qantas Credit Card rewards spending with Qantas Frequent Flyer Points.

Both these cards can be linked to a separate card, the Woolworths Everyday Rewards Card. This is not a credit card. This is the card for the Woolworths Everyday Rewards customer loyalty scheme. When you spend at Woolworths Group stores, you can be rewarded with bonus Frequent Flyer or Everyday Rewards Points. Pay for your purchases, like grocery shopping, on your Woolworths Everyday Money or Qantas Credit Card, and then swipe your Everyday Money Rewards Card. For every dollar you spend over $30, you’ll get one bonus Frequent Flyer or Everyday Rewards point.

You will need to register in-store or online to become a member of Everyday Rewards.

How do I register my account online?

If you want to manage your account over the internet and keep track of your points balance, you’ll need to register your account for online use, which is a simple process and goes hand in hand with the online registration for Everyday Rewards.

During the application, you’ll be asked to enter a username (your email address) and a password – you will use these details to log in to your account after you’ve completed the application. Once you selected your login details, you can manage your account online at any time. The application took about 10 minutes (5 minutes on a good day though).

Once you sign up for the Everyday Rewards Card, you’ll be able to use it right away. They’ll provide you with a temporary card which you can print and use right away. It should take about five working days before your actual card arrives in the mail.

How do I check my rewards balance?

Once the application is complete and you’ve logged into your account, you can check the balance of your fuel vouchers, keep track of previous vouchers and view a summary of your Qantas Frequent Flyer points balance.

My account page for everyday rewards

To check your balance, click on the drop down menu with the title ‘My Everyday Rewards’. This will provide you with options to check your rewards.

How do I link my card to my Frequent Flyer membership?

In the Woolworths Everyday Rewards online application, you’re given three options when it comes time to link your Frequent Flyer membership to your Everyday Rewards account.

a) Link Everyday Rewards to your existing Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership

b) Link Everyday Rewards to a new Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership

c) Turn your points into gift cards automatically and forego earning Qantas Frequent Flyer Points.

As you can see you have the option of linking your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership either when you first sign up for Everyday Money or after you’ve applied. You can link your account to your Frequent Flyer membership through your Everyday Rewards online account.

Generally you have to pay a fee to join the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program – currently $89.50 – however, Woolworths may waive this fee as part of a special offer.

I’ve lost my card, how do I get a replacement?

If you’ve lost your card and you want a replacement sent to you, it’s very easy to order a new Everyday Money Card or key tag.

replacing your everyday rewards card

In the menu that says My Everyday Rewards drop-down menu, select the option that says ‘replace card’. This will take you to a page where you can order a new card and key tag, or a replacement key tag only.

I’m from Tasmania – why can’t I earn rewards?

Sadly, if you’re from Tasmania, you’re not eligible to enroll in Woolworths Everyday Rewards. But that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on the opportunity to have your spending rewarded. There is an alternate loyalty program operating for Tasmanians, The Frequent Shopper Club. Apparently, this is a hangover loyalty program from the old chain of Supermarkets Woolworths used to operate in Tasmania. The supermarkets were rebranded from Purity to Woolworths; however, the loyalty program remains.

      Hi Marion,

      Thanks for your question.

You can load money onto your card in store at Woolworths or Big W, or you can use BPAY or direct debit to load money onto the card. You’ll need your account information which you can find by logging into your account on the Woolworths Money site.

      Hope this has helped.

      Thanks,

      Elizabeth

    Hello
I signed up for the promotion where I had to spend $20 or more each week for 4 weeks to get a bonus of $50 to spend in Woolworths. How can I find out if I have received that $50 bonus?
    Thanks

      Hi Marie,

      Thanks for your question.

If you’ve signed up for a promotion and qualified for it, the reward will appear in your account up to seven days after the offer ends. You can find the full terms of the offer in the original email you were sent from Woolworths.

      Thanks,

      Elizabeth

I have had an Everyday rewards card since its inception, but to date have not had one gift card for me to spend in W.W. I should have thousands of points by now.

      Hi June,

      Thanks for your question.

You can check your points balance by logging into your account or by calling Woolworths directly. You also have the option of setting up auto rewards, where you can receive an automatic quarterly gift card if you have sufficient points to save you from keeping an eye on your points balance.

      I hope this has helped.

      Thanks,

      Elizabeth

    Hi,

      Hi Brodie,

      Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately to be eligible for the bonus points you need to be a new cardholder, that is, you’ve never held a Woolworths Qantas credit card before.

If you’d like, you can compare alternative cards with bonus points on sign up here.

      Cheers,
      Shirley

Hi. I am currently in Bali and have a woolworths everyday rewards card which I have been using.
I tried to use it tonight and it was declined, but I don’t think I have used up my credit.
I am not sure what to do as I don’t have my login details with me.
I am hoping you can help. I can’t find the right website to use.
    Thank you. Jennifer

      Hi Jennifer,

      Thanks for your question.

Sorry, I’m not entirely sure which card you’re referring to. The Woolworths Everyday Rewards Card is a card that you scan to earn points for your purchases at Woolworths.

Is it possible that you’re referring to the Woolworths Reloadable Prepaid Card? You can check your balance through the official Woolworths Money website (I’ve emailed you the link).

Alternatively, you could contact Woolworths to see what the issue is.

      Cheers,
      Shirley

Hi, I’ve applied for the woolworths Qantas credit card. If approved, do you get a separate card for the frequent flier program as well?

Example – Avis run a 3 point per $1 promo on rental cars. Would I have to use this card, or could I use my FF card (if it existed)?

    Thanks

      Shirley | May 16, 2014

      Hi Krystal,

      Thanks for your question.

If approved, you’ll need to contact Qantas directly for them to send you a separate Qantas membership card. Woolworths will just send you to the credit card.

      Cheers,
      Shirley

Is there a way to seperate linked cards?
My husband and I both have a card, but his is the main card (which is stupid since I do the shopping, but blame him thinking he has to be the boss of everything). The reason I wanted to do that was so that I get the discount vouchers rather than him, so I don’t have to remember to bring his. We could swap I suppose. Just wondering if it is doable.

      Jacob | March 7, 2014

      Hi, Anneliese.

I don’t believe so. The rewards will be credited to the main cardholder. You may have to apply for your own Everyday Rewards Account.

      Thanks for your question.

If I link (how?) my Woolworths Everyday Money Credit Card to my Everyday Rewards (loyalty) card do I have to swipe both to get points?
I want to carry and use one card, not two and still get my reward points.

      Jacob | February 24, 2014

      Hi, Ken.

Not exactly sure that you can do this. I believe you’ll have to swipe twice. If you find an answer, let us know.

      Jacob.
