    (1) What charges and limits apply to a cash advance taken using a Diners Club card, and a companion MasterCard, from an ATM outside Australia?
    (2) How many Qantas Frequent Flyer points per dollar spent does my (a) Diners Club card and (b) companion MasterCard accrue during the first $60,000 spent per year? How many points per dollar spent after $60,000, for each card?

Hi Bruce, thanks for your question!

The overseas cash advance charges would be $4 or if greater than $100 or 4% of the amount advanced with a withdrawal fee of $3 per transaction.

The Frequent Flyer Diners Club card will earn 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent.

      Hi Jim,

      Thanks for your question.

The Diners Club World MasterCard does offer cardholders access to over 450 airport lounges around the world, but unfortunately none of those are located in Australia.

You can compare credit cards that offer free access to airport lounges in Australia and around the world here.

      I hope this has helped.
