1. Earning points on flights
One of the ways to earn a large number of points quickly is to travel. You can earn points on flights with Qantas, oneworld alliance partners, and partner airlines. The oneworld alliance airlines include: American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malev Hungarian Airlines, Mexicana and Royal Jordanian. Qantas partner airlines include Jetstar, Alaska Airlines, China Eastern, Jet Airways and many more.
Status bonus:
You can earn extra points depending on your membership status. The bonus points are applied as a percentage of the base Economy rate:
- Silver Frequent Flyers earn 25% Status bonus = 25% more points.
- Gold Frequent Flyers earn 50% Status bonus = 50% more points.
- Platinum Frequent Flyers earn 100% Status bonus = double points.

A cabin bonus is awarded when you travel on Qantas Business and First Fares, and is applied as a percentage of the Basic Economy points:
- 10% bonus for Premium Economy.
- 25% bonus for Business.
- 50% bonus for First.
In addition, all members receive a 25% cabin bonus when they travel on Jetstar in StarClass and a 10% cabin bonus when they travel on British Airways in World Traveller Plus.
