HSBC Promotion Ends – The Next Best Balance Transfer?
On January 27th 2009, HSBC ended their $0 annual fee and 0% on balance transfers for 6 month balance transfer offer. It has now been replaced with a new offer on the HSBC Credit Card.
The HSBC Credit Card has now changed to on 5.99% p.a. for 6 months balance transfers, and still $0
for the life of the card.
While still a quality and cheap balance transfer offer, now it is by no means the best with the recent rate increase.

ANZ Low Rate Credit Card offers 0% p.a. for 6 months on balance transfers, at a $58 annual fee. It is a quality offer, and a great Balance Transfer Credit Card for 2010.

Citibank’s Silver Credit Card offers 2.9% on balance transfers for 12 months, at a modest $69 annual fee. Also hosts plenty of automatic Citibank rewards, benefits and services.Â
Whenever a ‘limited time only’ offer is available, it’s not just a marketing ploy – these offers do tend to be of real value, with almost artificially low rates and fees in relation to competing credit cards.
