PIN Numbers

You can get a private PIN, or Personal Identification Number, for each card issued on your account. This will be protected by Intech Credit Union’s privacy policy.

The Intech Credit Union Titanium 55 Credit Card can be used in any ATM in Australia, New Zealand, and New South Wales. You can also use it for purchases online and over the telephone.

Balance Transfer

You can get a transfer of outstanding balances on other credit cards to this account as long as you don’t go over your available credit limit. Of course, you also have to be in good standing with Intech Credit Union. If your account is delinquent, transferring another balance to it may not be approved.

Cash Advances

You can get a cash advance with your Intech Credit Union Titanium 55 Credit Card. These will come in handy when you are travelling, at university, or just needing pocket money for the week. Just remember there is no grace period with a cash advance, so you’ll start paying interest right away.

Overseas Use

Your Titanium 55 Card is good overseas, as well. It’s always good to have a backup plan when travelling, and your Intech Visa card is an excellent choice. Good wherever VISA is accepted, your Credit Card will get you a hotel room, a nice meal, a train ticket, or a cash advance during your overseas travel. There is a 2% conversion fee in the instances you use your card overseas. At times, the conversion fee may change. Contact Intech Credit Union before you leave on your trip to find out the current rates. Intech will also give you their VISA International Hotline Number to call should you have any trouble overseas.

Making payments on your Titanium Credit Card is simple enough. As with any card, just send in your payment by the due date. A handy tip here is to account for processing time when sending in your payment. If you do, your payment will be processed with time to spare, and not counted late. Often, people will post their payment on the day it’s due, thinking that if it’s postmarked by the due date, they’re OK. But the credit card company doesn’t look at postmarks. They process the payment, and the computer tracks the date it processes the payment. If that date is after the deadline, then you’re late with your payment, damaging your credit rating, and earning a late fee. Also, please remember that the Intech Card must be paid in Australia, so if you’re going to be overseas when the payment is due, be sure to make arrangements for this bill to be paid with your other bills.

Authorisation Of Purchase

You can use your Intech Credit Card at all EFT terminals, either by itself or with your PIN. You can also present it at the point of purchase for scanning. You can also provide the information online or over the telephone.
