Would you please tell me if my Platinum card covers me for any excess charges on a rental car in Australia if I pay the rental using this MasterCard?
Hi Brian. Thanks for your question. This insurance policy does not include car rental excess cover. I have emailed the document to you for your consideration. This is a benefit that’s included with some ANZ and some Westpac credit cards. Jacob.
Does the jetstar platinum insurance cover travel paid with the card through an online travel agent?
Hi Jeremy. Thanks for your question. The insurance applies to return tickets that have been charged to the account. As long as you can prove that cost of the return ticket was charged to your card / account, you will be eligible for the cover. Jacob.
Thanks Jacob.
Your welcome, Jeremy. Any time!
Can you please tell me how long the interest free period purchases is with the Jetstar MasterCard?
Thank you.
Hey Kay!
Thanks for your question. This card offers up to 55 days interest free on purchases when you’ve paid your balance by the end of the statement period. For more information on how this works, see out page, ‘what does up to 55 days interest free really mean?‘.
