Priority in the waitlist and telephone booking services, plus access to business class counters, are just some of the benefits of earning points in your Jetstar Frequent Flyer Rewards Program.

Learn about the Jetstar Frequent Flyer program

Jetstar is an affiliate airline company of Qantas, which is the largest airline company in Australia. With a Jetstar credit card you have the choice to choose to earn reward points through the Jetstar rewards program or Qantas frequent flyer points program. The ability to use either Qantas or Jetstar offers a wide variety of services to you for your flights. You get to have access to one of the largest frequent flyer networks, because both airlines are affiliated with the OneWorld alliance. You also can save money because Jetstar offers low priced flights.

Additionally, you will qualify for many different special offers that are a part of the Qantas and Jetstar rewards program. With all these ways to save, this frequent flyer program is one of the best options out there if you want a big reward on a small budget. The Jetstar Platinum MasterCard gives you the option to earn 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer point per $1 spent OR 2c in Jetstar Dollars per $1 spent.

Wide Variety of Airline and Flight Options

The Jetstar rewards program offers an unprecedented variety of airlines when compared to other low cost airline companies. Even though Jetstar is a discount airline company, they are networked with Qantas, so they have all of the advantages of working with Australia’s largest airline.

There are also three sister companies: Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Pacific in Vietnam, and Valuair in Singapore. Between all of the different affiliates, Jetstar services 15 countries in the Asia Pacific region with nearly 2000 flights a week. So you can depend on them to travel anywhere in Asia Pacific, and you are sure to find a flight timing that is suitable for you.

In addition, Jetstar offers domestic flights to nearly every major Australian airport, as well as many major destinations in New Zealand. They also offer flights to other major destinations across Asia. The airline may have a fairly small number of destinations now, but they are rapidly expanding.

The benefits to the Jetstar rewards include:

  • Access to Qantas business class counters
  • Priority stand by and waitlist
  • Extra baggage
  • Selecting your seat in advance
  • Priority telephone reservation services

You can get even more rewards if you are a part of the elite tiers of the Jetstar rewards programs. You will also have access to exclusive deals with many different travel services from travel agencies, to car rentals and hotels.

How to Earn Your Frequent Flyer Points with the Jetstar Rewards Program

You will need to elect to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points with your Jetstar credit cards.

Another way to earn Jetstar or Qantas rewards points is by shopping with participating retailers, which include a wide range of travel companies. The affiliate retailers also include restaurants, liquor stores, car companies, and many different businesses. This means that you can accrue points without actually having to take a flight with Jetstar. This makes it a good deal for people who do not fly very often or prefer to fly on budget fares alone.

As a Qantas affiliate, you will be subject to all the regulations of the Qantas frequent flyer rewards program when you choose to enroll in the Jetstar rewards program. You are only eligible for membership in the rewards program if you are an individual. No corporations or businesses are permitted membership. Other than that caveat, joining the Jetstar rewards program is actually very easy to do.
