Types of credit cards that The MacArthur Credit offers
The Mac gives you two credit cards options from which to choose, letting you take up a product that suits your credit card spending.
Low rate credit cards
People who don’t pay entire outstanding balances each month can benefit by getting credit cards that charge low ongoing rates, and the MyCard Low Rate MasterCard that The Mac provides fits this category. These cards don’t usually offer too much in terms of extras, but can help support your ongoing spending needs. The MyCard Low Rate MasterCard also offers protection for purchases you make using the card.
Platinum credit cards
If you’re looking to get a bit more out of your credit card, a platinum card might be one to consider. Compare these cards by the access they give you to the premium features you want, but make sure you don’t get charged too much in terms of fees and higher rates. MacArthur CU offers you a platinum card with standard access to lucrative extras you’d expect with a platinum card.
Benefits of getting a credit card from The Mac
The Mac is a credit union, and as such develops their products and services with their members in mind. Look forward to highly competitive products, including their credit cards, that offer a number of distinct benefits.
Easy access to funds

You can make contactless purchases for transactions under $100, use your card to withdraw funds at ATMs (just be aware of the cash advance fees) and use it online and over the phone.
If you’re looking to be protected when you spend with your card, The Mac has you covered. Purchase cover insurance and a guaranteed pricing scheme offer protection to both Low Rate and Platinum cardholders. Your card comes with an embedded microchip and as a MasterCard, your transactions will be monitored for unusual activity. When you use your card to spend online, SecureCode will provide that extra layer of security you need.
All platinum cardholders get 24/7 access to a platinum concierge service that can assist you in areas such as travel, entertainment, shopping, and executive services. You can turn to this service to get information about different modes of travel and also make reservations. You can use it for hotel reservations and restaurant reservations, for information and logistical arrangements on gifts, and for interpretation and translation services.
