    Hi

My question is: If I have a current credit card limit $3000 #1800 owing and will be transferred to my new credit card. Will this current credit card of $3000 affect my application amount even though I will be cancelling it as soon as the balance is paid in full?

    Thank you

      Hi NewEarthGirl,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

Just to confirm, is this “my application amount” is the credit limit you will request for your new credit card?

Your current credit card limit of $3000 will not in any way have a direct effect on your application. The credit limit that you’ll be approved for your new credit card (where the balance is being transferred to) will be based on the assessment of the bank of your income, job stability, ability to repay and credit rating.

Hope this has answered your question.

      Cheers,
      May

      Hi Sandra,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

You can transfer your balance from your current credit to this ME frank Credit Card so long that the card you’re currently holding is not issued by ME frank. There is no fee when transferring your balance but you will be charged with 9.99% p.a. interest on that balance.

Hope this has answered your question.

      Cheers,

Hi can you transfer the balance of 2 different credit cards to this card if it is under $15,000??
    Cheers

    • Staff
      May | July 8, 2016

      Hi Dee,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

Actually, most credit card companies allow you to transfer balances from more than one card to a single credit card, though this will vary from credit card issuer to another. However, you have to take note that the total transfer must not exceed the balance transfer limit, which is usually a percentage of the credit limit between 70% and 100%. I’d encourage you to contact ME frank to verify if they would allow you transfer the balance of 2 different credit cards to this account and how much you can transfer.

For your convenience, I have forwarded to your email ME frank’s contact details.

      Cheers,
