The Cashback rewards system allows cardholders to earn 1% Cashback credit on every dollar spent on their platinum card. Once your Cashback credit reaches 100, it will automatically be credited to your selected account. You can earn rewards for up to $100,000 of your spending each year, and can earn rewards even faster if you add additional cardholders.
Interest-free days – save on interest
If the Mortgage Choice Platinum Card account is paid in full by the due date each month, you can enjoy up to 55 interest-free days on purchases.
How to apply for the Mortgage Choice Platinum Card
If you decide to apply for a credit card with Mortgage Choice, you will need to ensure you meet the following application criteria:
- 18 years old or over
- Permanent resident of Australia
- Good credit rating
- Check the credit card review pages for individual criteria to see if you’re eligible.
If you meet the above criteria, you will need to provide the following information during your application:
- Gross annual salary
- Monthly expenses
- Details of your current employer including address and phone number
- If self-employed or retired, your accountant’s details will be required

Can I apply for a higher credit limit?
After six months you can apply for an increased credit limit by downloading and completing the form. You can locate the form under ‘credit card options’ in Mortgage Choice Online Services. Mortgage Choice may also invite you to apply for an increased credit limit if you are eligible.
How do I activate my card?
You can activate your card by contacting the Mortgage Choice Customer Service Centre and they will activate the card for you over the phone.
How do I transfer a balance from another credit card to my Mortgage Choice Platinum Card?
You can request a balance transfer by completing a request form which can be found under ‘credit card options’ in Mortgage Choice Online Services.
Can I choose my card PIN?
Yes, you can change your PIN online through self service in Mortgage Choice Online Services. You won’t need your existing PIN to select or change the PIN.
Can I use my card to complete purchases online?
Yes, you can use your card for online purchases. Mortgage Choice Credit Card also comes with the MasterCard Zero Liability cover to protect all of your online transactions against fraudulent purchases. A MasterCard SecureCode will also be in place for added security.
