Look Forward to the Return of Virgin Credit Card in 2010
Australians were blessed with the introduction of Virgin’s entry in to the credit card market years ago. It’s returning.
Consumers enjoyed a superior low interest rate coupled with no annual fee, a practically unheard of combination in the Australian market.
Not only is the Virgin credit card hailed to return, but alongside it a Virgin online savings account and a rumoured ‘Virgin Mortgage’.
Don’t be surprised if the Virgin savings account blows the rest of Australian competition out of the water as well.

When will Virgin return?
Citibank is said to to be in charge of licensing and branding the products sometime in 2010.
Why is Citibank in Charge of it?
Citibank’s consumer base tends to appeal to foreign and high income consumers. By partnering with Virgin they hope to appeal to a wider and younger demographic.
Can I apply for a Virgin credit card now?
As of April 2008 Virgin has officially retired from new applicants. Hopeful consumers will have to sit tight and hope that the new products will arrive as early as possible in 2010.
