So why is the CashPod making news? At pub owners discretion, they’ll be able to shift the charge of withdrawal depending on the time. The more intoxicated one becomes, the less inclined they’ll be to travel down the street or block to their own bank’s ATM, and won’t be phased by high charges.

While there aren’t even 20 in Australia at the moment, over the next few months more than 50 are expected to be installed.
