Oneworld is a tiered membership and as you progress through the levels of Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald you will receive more freedom of access to these lounges, meaning no restrictions and for longer extended periods.
For example, if you are a Ruby class member and are travelling in First or Business Class, you can access the exclusive lounge but you will have to pay a fee for entry. Whereas when you become a Sapphire or Emerald member access is free immaterial of whichever class you are travelling. Consequently the higher level you achieve within Oneworld Alliance the more benefits you stand to gain and the greater savings.
