SecureCash Express Remittance Prepaid and Reloadable Credit Card

If you send money abroad you’ll be used to high transfer fees and lengthy delays. The SecureCash Xpress Remittance Prepaid and Reloadable card gives you an alternative way to get money overseas quickly, simply, and affordably. Do you have family overseas? If you do, there may be times you want to send them money. The SecureCash Xpress Remittance card gives you a quick and easy way to send money to them without the usual fees or delays.

How Does it Work?

You can get your hands on an Xpress card by purchasing online or at one of the SecureCash partner retailers. When you join you’ll be given two cards. One for you, and one for a friend or family member overseas. Once you receive your cards you need to activate them (online or over the phone) before choosing a pin number. You’ll use this pin to access ATM machines. The pin number you choose will be the same for both cards, so you need to inform the second card holder before they can access the cash. Try to give them this information as securely as possible so nobody can intercept the details. It’s probably ideal to do this in person or over the phone. Emails and text messages can be easily picked up and read by other people, so are good to be avoided.

Loading the Card

Putting funds on the Xpress card is very straightforward. You can do it via BPAY online or via telephone banking, or in person at any partner retailers. There are a growing number of partner retailers including certain:

  • BP petrol stations
  • Newslink agencies
  • Supanews agencies
  • Most shops displaying the BPAY logo

When you load up in person simply hand the retailer your card, tell them how much you want to load onto the card, and make your payment. They’ll swipe your card and that’s it! The money will now be available to both you and your second card holder. You can access the money in a couple of ways. Either withdraw funds from at least a million ATM machines around the world, or by using your Xpress card to make purchases online or over the phone. If you use your card in person you’ll need to remember to choose the “credit” or “Visa” option when you pay.

A Cheaper Way to Send Cash

Your Xpress card doesn’t cost anything to “purchase” and it costs just $7.95 to send money overseas. This makes the SecureCash Xpress Remittance card one of the cheapest international money transfer services available. There are no ongoing or monthly fees to pay, and it doesn’t cost your second card holder anything to receive cash. Visa also offers some very competitive exchange rates, so you can be sure you’re getting value for money. The SecureCash Xpress Remittance card is the perfect way to help your loved ones overseas. Send money quickly, easily, and securely without the costs and without long delays. Depending on how you load your card, your funds are available almost instantly making this the ideal way to get money to your loved ones when they need it most.
