Obviously the more choices you have for spending means greater opportunities for accumulating your points. Factor in, that SA has an excellent reputation for customer service and you are on the way to, not only saving and rewards but also an enhanced travel experience.
Singapore Airlines – the company
Singapore Airlines has long been known as a trend setter particularly in respect of utilising new technologies and improving the customer experience with great service. They are the flag carrier for Singapore, with a growing fleet of 108 aircraft on hand and 59 on order. One of the major policies of SA has been to maintain a young fleet, with the average aircraft being no more than 6 and half years old. They have been prepared to invest in the latest developments of aviation technology as was demonstrated by their purchase and launch of the super jumbo Airbus A380.
Being a member of Star Alliance, which is the world’s biggest airline alliance means that any benefits gained from flying with SA can be utilised with other associated airlines from the alliance, giving customers extra options to spend or earn points. These include airlines such as:
- Swiss
- Spanair
- Turkish Airlines
- Tap Portugal
- And many more

Awards

- Business Travel Awards Best Transpacific Airline for Business Class
- Best Business Class from Condé Nast Traveller
- Guardian/Observer Travel Awards Best Long Haul Airline
- The Nordic Business Travel Supplier Award for Best Nordic Travel Supplier

Flying with Singapore Airlines
The main hub for SA can be found at Singapore Changi Airport. It goes without saying that SA has an extremely well developed route of flight paths in the East Asia, South East Asia, Australasia and South Asia regions. In addition to the Asian network SA operates a number of trans-Pacific flights. This is where the Airbus A340-500 has justified itself in that two of these flights are the longest non-stop flights, being Los Angles to Singapore and Newark to Singapore. Frequent travellers who travel to Asia for business or pleasure would be doing themselves a disservice if they didn’t see the advantages of how this airline and the SA Krisflyer program would provide benefits in terms of points and reducing travel costs.
