The Singapore Airlines Westpac Gold Card is known as a companion credit card, meaning you get two credit cards to maximise the number of points you can earn with its rewards program, which builds up KrisFlyer miles towards flights with Singapore Airlines.

You pay only one annual fee, have one credit limit, and receive one monthly statement, but you get double the opportunity to earn points with your credit card purchases. The concept is that you use your Singapore Airlines Westpac Gold American Express Card where Amex is accepted, and earn 1 KrisFlyer mile per dollar spent, and at places where Amex isn’t accepted, you simply hand over your Singapore Airlines Westpac Gold Card , and earn a half a KrisFlyer mile per dollar spent. Visa is accepted at over 28 million merchant locations around the world, so between the two cards, you will never be lacking a willing merchant to accept your purchase.

Besides earning points on all your card purchases, if you buy Singapore Airlines tickets in Australian dollars with either of your cards on singaporeair.com.au for travel out of Australia, you will earn double the KrisFlyer miles you would usually earn at the standard rate, meaning you can be flying again sooner. And how about receiving 5,000 KrisFlyer miles just for making your first purchase with either card?

On top of this, your annual fee for the first year for the Singapore Airlines Westpac Gold Card is $75 annual fee for the first year ($125 thereafter), you can enjoy an introductory balance transfer offer of 0.99% p.a. for 6 months, and you receive a host of complimentary insurances just as you would on a platinum level card.

The Singapore Airlines Westpac Gold Card Rewards Program

  • Earn 1 KrisFlyer mile for every $1 spent on purchases in or outside Australia using your Singapore Airlines Westpac Gold American Express Card
  • Earn 0.5 KrisFlyer mile for every $1 spent on purchases in or outside Australia using your Singapore Airlines Westpac Gold Visa Card
