Best Low Interest Rate Credit Card
The St.George Vertigo MasterCard offer has re-launched, now featuring a great low rate on balance transfers. The St.George Vertigo is an excellent card to consider from one of Australian most respected banks. A Cannex 5 star rated credit card.
- $0 p.a. annual fee for the first year ($55 p.a. thereafter) annual fee
- 13.24% p.a. on purchases
- 2.99% p.a. for 6 months on balance transfers
- Cash Advance Rate of 21.49% p.a.
- 55 days interest free
Complete Freedom and Express Freedom accounts
Complete Freedom account provides consumer the luxury of unlimited transactions at the branch, using Cheques, through ATMs and other electronic modes. It also offers a Visa Debit card which allows you to have access to your money anywhere around the world. There is a monthly fee of $5 per month, however this can be avoided if you deposit $2000 or pay your St.George home loan installments through the account every month.
St.George Express Freedom Account gives you unlimited access to electronic banking for $3 , this includes access to ATMs, EFTPOS, Internet and Phone Banking, and a Visa Debit Card. You can still visit a branch if you really need to, however you will have to pay a fee.
Complete Freedom Student Account
This account is designed specifically with students in mind. It includes no account keeping fee and is open to any full time student or apprentice. You have complete access to your money through ATMS, EFTPOS, branches, and Internet and Phone Banking
Other accounts
Other St.George bank accounts include the St.George SENSE, which gives you access to two accounts, while providing details through one statement. It include an everyday transaction account and a savings account. For $5 a month it gives you unlimited access to ATMs, EFTPOS, Internet banking and phone banking. It also comes with a Visa Debit Card. The account statement also gives details about you modes of spending and help you with your budget.
Retirement Access Plus Account is designed for retirees and pensioners. It has no fees and interest is calculated daily, you also have the option of having a Visa Debit Card. The Society Cheque Account meanwhile is for not for profit organizations and provides unlimited transactions without any fees. It also offers features of other St.George bank accounts including a chequebook and interest which is calculated daily.
Concession accounts are for those who hold a concession card. It has no minimum balance, no account keeping fees and allows eight withdrawals a month, including three through a branch.
