Please advise if your travel money card comes with user name imprinted on the front. Many thanks

      Hi Jaz,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

Please note that finder.com.au is an online comparison service, and is not connected with St.George.

To answer your question though, the St.George website doesn’t mention that the card comes with a name printed on the front, just an expiry date and your card number. You may need to get in touch with St.George directly to confirm whether it is possible to order a card with your name on it.

      I hope this has helped.

      Thanks,

      Sally

    Hi

If I want to transfer my credit card balance from an existing STG credit card to another bank, is there fees involved from STG?

Hi Sam, thanks for your inquiry!

To complete a balance transfer from a St.George credit card, apart from closing the card properly and clearing all remaining debt balances there are no other fees involved.

      Cheers,

      Jonathan

How long does it take to change to Amplify Platinum from my Gold Visa credit card? I am going overseas in September, how soon could I apply for the free travel insurance?

    • Staff
      Jonathan | February 10, 2015

Hi Mandy, thanks for your inquiry!

The transfer process for an existing St.George Card to an Amplify Credit Card is completed via a form from St.George’s website and can generally take up to 5 business days.
To receive the complimentary travel insurance as per the terms and conditions “A cardholder becomes eligible for this Overseas travel insurance when, before leaving Australia on an overseas journey, they have a return overseas travel ticket, and A$500 of their prepaid travel costs (i.e. costs of their return overseas travel ticket; and/or airport/departure taxes; and/or their prepaid overseas accommodation/travel; and/or their other prepaid overseas itinerary items) have been charged to the cardholder’s eligible credit card account.”

      Cheers,

      Jonathan

Hello. I’m an existing credit cardholder with St.George, I want to do a balance transfer from another bank. Is it possible to be a holder of two different credit cards with the same bank.
    Thank you.

      Jacob | November 15, 2013

      Hi Koben.

      Thanks for your question.

If you already hold another St.George credit card, you can still apply for a new St.George credit card. The important thing is that you can’t hold two of the same account.

      I hope this helps.

Hi. How are credit card limits set for non residents on a student visa?

    • Staff
      Jacob | September 23, 2013

      Hi Rene.

      Thanks for your question.

Credit limits for temporary residents seeking a credit card are set the same way as for permanent residents. In order to be eligible for one of the these cards, there are certain conditions you need to meet, i.e. earn over a certain amount each year. Your credit limit will be assessed based on your income. You can find out more about this on this page.

Hi i already applied for the vertigo card and was accepted. The lady i spoke to said i would hve my card in 5 to 10 days and it has now been 15 how long till i get my card??

    • Staff
      Jacob | September 20, 2013

      Hi Shell.

      Thanks for your question.

You should have your card already. Did you elect to get it sent to a branch? It may already be waiting for you at a St.George branch to pick up. If this isn’t the case, please speak to the lender to find out where your card is. You can find contact numbers on this page.
