The St. George Vertigo MasterCard is one cool little cucumber; OK, it might be a credit card, but believe me, you will fall prey to the lure of this shiny beauty because this card is loaded with goodies. If my wallet had space for another credit card I sure as muck would add it to my shopping arsenal which is cue for all your shopaholics out there.

St. George Vertigo MasterCard Credit CardFeatures of the St. George Vertigo MasterCard:

Besides looking uber-cool with its shiny and slinky design the St. George Vertigo MasterCard packs a punch of great features. Let’s start with the most important, the rates:

Show me the shops baby:

With the features of the St. George Vertigo it is as if the bank made this card for shopping crazy chicks and blokes. The card is purfect for those rainy Saturday afternoons for all those Melbournians and Sydneysiders and of course for the rest of the nation too. It’s just that it doesn’t rain so much in other parts of Australia, hehehe!

Some of the more boring aspects of the St. George Vertigo:

Yeah, I know, but it has to be said. Whenever there is good, there is also some bad, or at least boring as the small print and all that jazz. Here are some more bits and pieces you need to know before you go bash down the doors of St.George to get your hands onto one:

  • 21.24% on cash advances.
  • $55 annual card fee.
  • Cannex 4 star rating (many of you are probably saying.. uhm…who is Cannex?)
  • Voted Australia’s Cheapest Credit Card by Money Magazine in 2007 and 2008
Rewards (now we’re talking!)
  • Get instant discounts and added extras with St.George Instant Benefits.
  • Get an additional card for a friend or family member (believe me, they’ll want it BAD!).
  • Linked access to your St.George accounts

Security features of the St. George Vertigo MasterCard:

It has to be said that the guys at St. George are keen about protecting you against nasties and the likes. It’s like having your own warrior army looking out for your card and your financial safety, but having said this, it doesn’t mean you need to become lazy about your security. Always use common sense when dealing with your credit card – even when you go bonkers in the next sales.

  • The Falcon Fraud system provides 24×7 monitoring and detection of suspicious transaction.
  • You are protected against unauthorised transactions provided you did not cause or contribute to the loss.
  • If you believe a fraudulent transaction has been made on your account, notify St. George immediately
  • Shop online with confidence knowing your Internet purchases and payments are safe and secure.
  • MasterCard SecureCode is a free service that utilises a password to validate your transaction.
  • To use Secure Online Shopping simply register for St.George Internet Banking.

How to get your hands onto a St. George Vertigo MasterCard:

Before I tell you how, I need to tell you why. It’s simple, these credit cards are in hot demand and if you don’t hurry they might run out of stock – hahaha, not really! But you should take a serious look into this card as it does offer some great perks!
