Today, Aussie unveiled their new promotion which lines up perfectly for some quality christmas savings: 0% on purchases for the first 6 months if you apply for an Aussie MasterCard before January 10th 2009. For the time being, their balance transfer offer has been removed, making access to the 0% interest rate much easier as a balance transfer isn’t required.

If you receive your Aussie MasterCard December 1st, you can effectively repay a $10000 balance at 0% until June 1st. If you use your card responsibly, the only price to pay will be the $49 annual fee (currently the lowest among Australian low interest rate credit cards available for online application).
