This is a great list of blogs! I'll have to check them out! I found this from Man vs Debt but I have checked out a few of the others. I agree that the Simple Dollar probably should have been in the fold. I am also trying to start my own personal finance blog called: Fruitfulista. Personally we've been able to make most of our money in real estate rentals but we are hoping to expand to a guesthouse in the tropics -in Puerto Rico to be exact. We just bought a property with 4 jungle acres with two houses in May! We have another site devoted to this endeavor called LifeTransPlanet. Our goal is to have enough passive residual income that we can live in Puerto Rico without "real" jobs...so all the help we can get from these Badass blogs the better! :-) P.S. I did like the cartoon characters too! Good job on that! Take care, Cassie

I like the cartoon images. I wish I would be debt free. The list is helpful as I am trying to get information together to my financial freedom and can retire early.

I think it is fine that TSD did not make the list. There are plenty of great blogs that don’t get nearly the exposure, and leaving TSD off made a spot available for someone else that probably does not have the readership and exposure that Trent does, and may get more benefit than Trent would have. Just because TSD is the most popular personal finance blog out there, does not mean it has to be on every single best of list automatically.

I think it is fine that TSD didn’t make the list. #23 Lori – I am also SHOCKED that The Simple Dollar is not listed! Trent has elevated the PF blog world to a whole new level. Although I read GRS and Christian PF pretty regularly, I read TSD every single day. Truthfully, I’m not sure what you consider bad**s, but the only one of these bloggers whose style I would categorize as such is Ramit over at IWTYTBR.
