Types of credit cards from Virgin Money

Since launching their credit card business in Australia, Virgin Money have expanded their range of credit cards to include low rate and no annual fee products. Their frequent flyer products have been, and remain to be, some of the most popular in the market. These cards reward you with Velocity Points when you make an eligible purchase as well as offer you a range of competitive card features.

  • No annual fee credit cards

Although the purchase rate of interest may be high for a no annual fee credit card, it’s only charged if you carry a balance from month to month. You might want to compare these credit cards on the number of interest-free days available as well as other features, like balance transfer and interest-free promotional offers. This offer also comes with $100 cashback on your card when you spend $2,000 or more in the first 3 months.

    Hi,

Me and my partner have a joint loan and want to do a balance transfer to a CC. Is this possible with Virgin?

    • Staff
      Sally | August 24, 2015

      Hi Donald,

      Thanks for your question.

Just to clarify, are you referring to a personal loan?

If so, Virgin Money are one of a select number of institutions that allow you to transfer your personal loan and line of credit debt to one of their credit cards, as well as letting you transfer other card debt.

However, your eligibility requirements will also depend on the level of the debt and your credit history. Should you have any further specific questions regarding your eligibility requirements, I would suggest you get in contact with Virgin Money directly.

      I hope this has helped.

      Thanks,

      Sally

    • Staff
      Jonathan | August 24, 2015

The minimum credit limit varies and depends on the type of credit card you choose. Most Virgin Australia credit cards offer a minimum credit limit of $6,000, but there are some that also offer a higher amount.

If you wish to find out the minimum credit limit of a specific card, kindly check the Comparison table on this page and click on the credit card of your choice. On the page the product table will provide the details you are looking for, including the minimum credit limit of the respective card you’ve chosen.

      I hope this helps.
