Westpac Altitude Credit Card Benefits

The Westpac Altitude Credit Card can be a great way to save money and reduce your debt balance at the same time. For a limited time, customers can benefit from a 3.99% p.a. for 6 months on balance transfers from a non-Westpac credit card.

By rolling your outstanding balances over to Westpac, you can reduce the amount of interest you’re charged. If you put your interest savings towards your balance, you’ll be able to reduce your debt much faster.

You receive two credit cards with your account, both linked to the same credit limit and shown on one statement. On top of this, Westpac Altitude credit cards give you the opportunity to earn Altitude reward points that can be redeemed for great consumer items. Your Altitude American Express card will allow you to earn 2 points per $1 spent on purchases and 1 Altitude point per $1 spent on your Visa or MasterCard.

The first time you use your new Westpac Altitude card to make a purchase you’ll receive a bonus 5,000 Altitude points to get you started. Your points never expire and there’s no cap on the amount you accumulate. You can redeem your points for electronics, gadgets, movies, wine, discounts, gift cards and even cash back onto your credit card if you choose. You’ll be charged a $100 annual fee for your card.

If you’re the type of customer who regularly repays the balance of your credit card down to zero each month before the statement date, then you can enjoy up to 45 days interest free on your purchases paid with your Westpac Altitude Credit Card . This can allow you to pay for the things you need now and repay them over the month without being charged any interest.
