The Woolworths credit card, called the Woolworths Everyday Money credit card, is the first product offered by Everyday Money Online and it has proven to be very popular both with customers and industry commentators since it appeared. This is largely down to the rewards scheme that comes with the Woolworths credit card, which industry surveys have found to be one of the most productive and best value rewards schemes available. In fact, the Woolworth's Everyday Money credit card was awarded Money Magazine's Best Innovative Product, and the Canstar Cannex five-star rating for its rewards program.
Successful applicants for the Woolworths credit card between 11 January and 31 March 2010 will receive a $50 shopping card to spend at a range of Woolworths group stores of they make three purchases on their card before 31 May 2010. You earn points according to where you shop. Three points per dollar can be earned on Woolworths Select products, excluding purchases made online; two points per dollar can be earned on other products purchased at Woolworths Group Stores; and one point per dollar can be earned on all other purchases made on your Woolworths credit card.
Every four months you automatically receive a shopping card to spend in any Woolworths group store, which include Woolworths and Safeway Supermarkets, Caltex Woolworths/Safeway co-branded fuel outlets, Big W, Dick Smith Electronics and Dick Smith PowerHouse, Tandy, Thomas Dux Grocers, and Dan Murphy's. You also benefit from being able to pay for fuel at the pump with Epump.
The annual fee for the first year with the Woolworths credit card is waived, and you pay $49 per year after that. The card is issued by HSBC Bank Australia.
