      Hi Mat,

      Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately, we do not have a credit card which offers 40,000 bonus Qantas points combined with $69 annual fee.
However, you may wish to check our Frequent Flyer Credit Cards page for a wide range of credit cards which offer bonus points upon sign up.

      Hi Sheenaaz,

      Thanks for your question.

Please note that Woolworths have specified the following changes to the existing Staff Discount Card:
“All eligible Woolworths employees based in Australia will be invited to join the new WOW People Discount Card program. The new WOW People Discount Card will replace the existing Staff Discount Card and Secondary Card (if you have a Secondary Card). The new WOW People Discount Card will now be automatically linked to the Everyday Rewards Program, giving you more rewards for shopping at Woolworths Group businesses.”

However, we can confirm that Qantas Points can be earned by linking a WOW People Discount Card to Everyday Rewards, when the WOW People Discount Card is scanned, for purchases over $30 at Woolworths Supermarkets, BIG W, BWS and Cellarmasters (when you also link your card to Qantas Frequent Flyer).
You can also redeem your Qantas Points for Woolworths Gift Cards or from over 3000 products in the Qantas Store.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Ysa

If this card is used to pay bills such as electricity, council rates, insurance premium etc , do it attract reward points ?

    • Staff
      Ysa | November 2, 2015

      Hi Joan,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

As mentioned above, an “eligible purchase” is a retail purchase, excluding transactions such as business expenses, special promotions (including interest free promotions and balance transfers), transactions for gambling purposes, cash advances and cash substitutes.

Unfortunately, no reward points are attracted for electricity bills, council rates (government charges) and insurance premium, as they are not considered as eligible purchases.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Ysa

If I transfer $5000 from another Credit Card under the 14 Month 0% interest period and use the card and spend $200 in the first month on everyday purchases, when I make a payment, say $300 at he end of the first month.
Does the payment deduct from the $5000? leaving the $200 purchase to accumulate interest?
Or does the first $200 pay off the $200 purchase amount and the remaining $100 come of the Balance transfer of $5000?

    • Staff
      Jonathan | October 13, 2015

Hi Aaron, thanks for your inquiry!

The repayments go towards the highest rate of interest first. So your purchases would be repaid before the balance transfer amount.

      Cheers,

      Jonathan

If I transfer $6000 and then make an “eligible” purchase of $200, do I then have to repay the full $6,200.00 before the end of 55 days in order not to be charged interest or only the $200 amount.

    • Staff
      Jonathan | September 16, 2015

Hi Michael, thanks for your inquiry!

As long as your balance transfer amount is approved you will receive 0% for 14 months interest free on the debt. Please note that while you have an outstanding balance you will not receive any interest free days after the first statement month.

On the other hand, the $200 you have spent on purchases can avoid getting charged of 20.49% interest as long as you pay your total balance in full by your statement due date or on the 55th day from the start of your statement period. For a more detailed explanation on how the interest-free period works, kindly refer to this page.

      Cheers,

      Jonathan
